Starting a credit union… Wow. The co-op is actively having conversations with several groups working on plans and details around starting new credit unions.
Just recently, I had a chance to meet a great group touring the offices in Grand Rapids. This particular team is well on their way in the start-up process. Their focus is a college-based field of membership for an east coast institution. You could see and feel the passion for building something with these young adults. Exciting. Invigorating. Why doesn’t it happen more?
